Carmina Burana

Southend Boys’ and Southend Girls’ Choirs will be joining Southend Choral Society and Southend Festival Chorus in a performance of Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana and John Rutter’s Gloria. Accompanists are Rosemary Pennington & Stephen King with a Percussion Ensemble.
Soloists are Elizabeth Dunlop, soprano; Colin Gilmore, counter tenor; Hugo Burgess, Baritone.
The Conductor is Roger Humphrey.
This promises to be an exciting and dramatic concert of a very popular work, and also an opportunity to hear a contemporary less familiar work.
