We are incredibly saddened to hear of the recent passing of Jan Walker.
Jan was a dear friend and supporter of the Southend Choirs for many years. Her wonderful West Leigh Boys’ Choir joined the Southend Boys’ Choir for many performances, and Jan was the much-loved leader of the Step Up Choir, as well as a wonderful supporter of so many of our concerts and events.
Jan will be greatly missed by the Southend Choirs and by the many people, young and old, whose lives she touched through her love of music and singing.
Our thoughts are with Jan’s family, friends and all those who knew and loved her. ❤️

Step-up Choir is a great introduction to singing in a small and informal group.
When and where does the group meet?
Due to the death of our Musical Director, arrangements for Step Up choir will be under review.

Girls and boys aged 6 and over.
