Southend Choirs is a registered charity (1161752) which brings singing and performance opportunities to children and young people from the age of 3 upwards.
Singing in a group has numerous benefits, including mental and physical health, self-confidence, learning and social development. It is one of the most engaging forms of self-expression which allows individuals to explore emotions, build self-esteem and develop relationships.
We make no charge to our members, there is no joining fee or membership fee, and no weekly rehearsal fees. No singer is ever denied the opportunity to sing with the choirs due to financial hardship.

Volunteer
Our volunteers are invaluable to the work of the choirs, and assist in many different areas of work, including chaperoning, supporting us at concerts, assisting with publicity and social media, and much more.
