Sing for the Sea

On Sunday 27th September we are holding a workshop day with a professional vocal coach, who will be taking fun warm ups and teaching the singers  some Sea Shanties.  These are always great fun to sing, and everyone can get involved.  This day starts at 10.30am at Southend’s Forum (Central Library), and finishes at the end of the Pier, after a short “flash mob”, at around 4.30pm.   The day is free for all singers, and lunch will be provided.  Entrance to the pier will be free for each singer, who will also get an ice cream at the end of the afternoon.  This is open not only to our own singers (aged 9+) but also to non choir members of that age.
