Remembrance Weekend

It has been a very busy weekend for us in the choirs! It started with a very poignant Remembrance Concert at St Alban's Church in Westcliff. There, the choir sang a collection of thought-provoking songs and war songs along with Southend Brass Ensemble.

Saturday saw the start of our Christmas season as the first group of choristers headed to Claridges Hotel to sing Christmas carols in the very festive tea rooms.

Sunday was the busiest day of all as many of our choristers started the day singing at the Remembrance service at Southend Cenotaph before joining the group to sing at Claridges.
