Barcelona Day 2

After a very welcome breakfast we boarded our coach to catch the mountain railway to Monserrat. Having admired the wonderful views while ascending, we had time for a refreshing drink or ice-cream, a bit of shopping or exploring the area.

We were lucky enough to be singing at Monserrrat Monastery, performing a choral offering at the high altar. We had a large and appreciative audience, including some of our singers families.

Following lunch in Monserrat we made our way back down the mountain and back to our hotel for some beach and pool time.

After dinner, being in Spain, we clearly had to watch the World Cup Final match with some of the locals. Its a good job we have a later start tomorrow!
