Barcelona Day 3

Today was a sightseeing day. After watching the football last night we were all very pleased to have a later breakfast before heading into Barcelona to explore Las Ramblas. Unfortunately there is a lot of renovation work going on so it didn’t look as good as it can but we still had fun looking in the souvenir shops and exploring the markets.

We then moved on to the beautiful Parc Guel. Designed by Antonio Gaudi, there is lots to discover, It was also very hot so we left in time for a swim in the pool. The plan was foiled by a thunderstorm so we had a games evening instead. During a lovely evening meal we took the opportunity to celebrate a choir birthday. singing ‘Happy Birthday’ to Vicky, one of our chaperones. We then all had an early night.
