Barcelona Day 4
Our morning began with an exciting visit to the Calafell Slide, a thrilling toboggan-style ride winding through the hillside. The singers had been looking forward to this all week, and it certainly didn't disappoint! Thanks to having exclusive use of the slide, everyone - chaperones included -enjoyed multiple rides. There were some impressively speedy descents, and we're convinced there may be a few future Olympic toboggan champions in our group!
After all the excitement, we headed to the beautiful town of Reus for lunch, a little shopping, and some time to explore. Best known as the birthplace of the renowned architect Antoni Gaudí, Reus is full of charm, with attractive streets, fascinating architecture, and plenty of interesting sights to discover. It was the perfect place to relax and soak up a little more of Catalan culture before returning to the hotel for a swim.
