Barcelona Day 5

Today we had quite a relaxed day. We started with a rehearsal, which sounded very promising for the next two days of performances. When Roger and Rosemary were satisfied with the quality, we went down the to the beach for a swim, or to get some food for lunch.

In the afternoon, we went to the Montjuic area of Barcelona. As well as the Olympic Stadium, the area has a superb cascade of water and amazing waterfalls. We had lots of great photo opportunities. At the bottom of the steps we made our way to a local shopping centre for refreshments and a bit of retail therapy.

Once back at the hotel there was just enough time for a swim before dinner for many singers. After dinner some of the singers went for a stroll along the beach and enjoyed the delights of the Ferris Wheel. Then it was time for bed as we have a busy day tomorrow.
