Netherlands Tour 2023- Day 3

From the sublime to the sensational! Today was our day out at Walibi Holland, a theme park with rides for everyone. We were excited to try as many different rides as we could with them ranging from ferris wheels and water rides to thrilling loop the loop rollercoasters. All children enjoyed exploring these and so did some of the adults! We were extremely lucky as the weather forecast of rain and storms magically changed to beautiful sunshine, helping everyone to dry off from the water rides. Once we had finished, we made our way to Noordwijk, a seaside town close to where we are staying, for dinner. The tables were covered in delicious pizza and followed up by our first group ice cream of this tour so far. After, we headed back to our town to enjoy the beach, paddling and playing in the sand until the sun started to set. We made our way back to the hotel in true Southend Choirs fashion with a rendition of Three Country Dances in One. What a fabulous day that was!
